The 27th annual Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame Inductions took place in Cleveland Saturday night, and while there were a lot of no shows — Faces’ Rod Stewart, Beastie Boy Adam Yauch, Chili Pepper John Frusciante, and Guns N’ Roses’ Axl Rose, Dizzy Reed, and Izzy Stradlin — only Axl’s absence was booed by fans (according to Rolling Stone). Duff McKagan, Slash, Gilby Clarke, Matt Sorum, Steven Adler, and Alter Bridge’s Myles Kennedy (in place of Axl) performed some of GN’R's biggest hits anyway, and we’ve got some fan-shot video of that below, along with clips of RHCP with Ronnie Wood, Billie Joe Armstrong, and George Clinton, and of the Beasties tribute featuring Kid Rock, Travie McCoy, and the Roots.

RHCP inductor Chris Rock noted, “A lot of people are upset that Axl didn’t come tonight … But let’s face it. Even if he was coming tonight, he wouldn’t be here by now.”

Here’s the list of inductees:

  • Guns N’ Roses
  • Red Hot Chili Peppers
  • Beastie Boys
  • Donovan
  • The Small Faces/The Faces
  • Freddie King
  • Don Kirshner
  • Cosimo Matassa
  • Tom Dowd
  • Glyn Johns
  • Laura Nyro

A broadcast of the event airs 5/5 on HBO. Check out pics from the event in the gallery up top, and our list of the 11 Biggest Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame Snubs here.
