Beach House - Bloom

Beloved Baltimore dream-rockers Beach House are about to return with the much-anticipated new album Bloom. We’ve posted early tracks “Myth” and “Lazuli,” and in his Premature Evaluation, Corban calls it “a record high on hi-fi ambitions while still maintaining a semblance of the hazy sorcery from its earlier recordings.” Today, the entire album is streaming over at NPR. Click here to hear it.

Bloom is out 5/15 on Sub Pop.

  1. YES! YES! YES! SO HAPPY!!!

  2. Waiting for my semester to end to fully listen to this. It feels only appropriate to let this album kick off my summer

  3. Joe Howse, YOU ARE RELEASED FROM YOUR SHACKLES.

  4. That awkward moment where we pretend we haven’t heard this a hundred times already

  5. I had stuff to do today but I can’t leave the house because this album has CONSUMED MY LIFE.

    IT’S SO FREAKING GOOD

(I need to sit down… and listen to Bloom again)

  6. This album is significantly worse that Teen Dream. It’s like a cheap stencil version of that album with all the magic taken out. It reminds me of when Pixies’s Bossa Nova came out – a huge letdown.
