In a gigantic Twitter bender earlier this year, Kanye West announced the formation of some sort of fashion/multimedia company called DONDA. We haven’t heard much about it since, but DONDA will have something to do with Cruel Summer, a new “short art film” that will debut at Cannes, during the Cannes Film Festival, next week. Apparently Cruel Summer is part film and part art installation, and it involves seven different screens. Kanye himself wrote, directed, and produced the film, and its stars include Kid Cudi and Aziz Ansari. It’ll debut on Wednesday and remain open to the public for two days afterward. If you’re lucky enough to be over there next week, RSVP for a screening at Kanye’s site.
