Pusha T - "Exodus 23:1" video

Last week, Clipse rapper Pusha T released “Exodus 23:1,” a dis track that sure seemed to be aimed at Drake. The song didn’t name names, but Lil Wayne noticed and promptly released the return shot “Ghoulish.” And now Pusha’s got a video for “Exodus 23:1,” so this thing is definitely ongoing. The new video doesn’t really do anything to further the anti-Cash Money narrative. Instead, it returns Pusha to the old Clipse milieu of Virginia crackhouses and mobs of goons with weathered faces. Samuel Rogers directs. Watch it below.

Man, if only this Wayne/Pusha thing had popped off in earnest five or six years ago, back when both guys were operating at their peaks. (They did exchange some subliminals back then, but it never really got this heated.)

  1. Pusha T is at peak level currently. Fear of God Mixtape, GOOD Music features, all crazy dope.

    • Some of those Fear of God tracks are good, but it’s nuts to say he’s better now than he was in the We Got It 4 Cheap/Lord Willin’/Hell Hath No Fury era: Mr. Me Too, Momma I’m So Sorry, Keys Open Doors, GRINDIN’, etc.

  2. i think i am going to have to side with the guy who did time in Rikers for criminal possession of guns and drugs.

in any case, how many times did Pusha say “nigga?” running the risk of sounding old and white–that’s gotta end. not just because it is offense but also because it shows some lack of creativity.

  3. ^don’t ever listen to Wayne’s boss Birdman lol
