  1. Ooh, two Acorn related posts in a row? I love it! They’ve got my vote.

Wintersleep’s ‘Welcome To The Night Sky’ was a solid album from start to finish…. pure Indie/Alt Rock goodness!!!

Releases by Caribou, The Acorn, Attack In Black and Plants & Animals were also solid

  5. Crystal Castles
    HILOTRONS
    Islands
    Plants & Animals

If any of these bands end up winning, i will be happy. If they do not, i will still be happy because there is no bad album on that list.

  6. I know they couldn’t include every indie release, and obviously the “usual suspects” are going to get the most votes… but it’s just too bad the jurors ignored the new Hinterland album: http://www.hinterland.bc.ca

  7. where is apes and androids?! seriously

  8. The lack of Random Spirit Lover is an outrage! Bah. That album did not get the love it deserved.
