Well, this morning just got significantly more awesome. “Big Beast,” the ridiculously badass all-star first single from Killer Mike’s excellent El-P-produced new album R.A.P. Music, has a nine-minute new video, and holy shit is it ever awesome. The clip features a Steven Seagal-style foiled convenience-store robbery, an entrail feast, an old-school car chase, Troma-esque gore, a knife murder, an axe murder, corpsepainted strippers, a prominent guest star in a Reagan mask, and three of the South’s greatest rappers looking ridiculously cool. You really need to take the time to watch it, even if you’re at work. It’s probably worth getting fired over.
R.A.P. Music is out now on Williams Street. Now someone please cast Killer Mike in a low-budget exploitation flick.

I loved all the “Drive” references.
The music video is alive and well.
This video is ridiculous. I love it. I see El-P definitly becoming more noticed in the near future.
Fantastic. I love this record. Like love it more than any hip-hop album I can remember in recent memory. “Don’t Die” is hands-down my favorite track this year so far.
