Lollapalooza 2012 Set Times Revealed

Lollapalooza just announced set times for this year’s festival, and from what it looks like, there doesn’t seem to be many major set time conflicts unless you’re the odd music fan torn between RHCP and Avicii. If you’re that person, I’m sure you’re not alone. Check out the full schedule grid at Lolla’s website.

  1. Music festivals are bound to have overlaps that drive certain concert goers crazy and you’ll be able to complain about any schedule, but with Lollapalooza it is different because it really seems like the have a very distinct strategy of consistently having popular artists play at the same. Even if they are different genres as a festival goer I usually would like to have the chance of seeing all the major acts on the line-up and it always seems that Lolla to have the worse overlaps out of any of the three major festivals. This year might not be the worse, but it’s still pretty poor, but its set up exactly the way you’d guess based on years past so ticket buyers don’t really have room to complain I just think scheduling is one of the main reasons why Lolla falls to the back of the pack by a mile in comparison to Bonnaroo and Coachella.

  2. Originally I was unhappy that I had to choose between Jack White and Justice to end my Sunday. Now Childish Gambino is playing the same time as them too! Weak sauce, Lollapalooza.
