In a MySpace post titled “Clarification” John Frusciante answers the question of whether or not he left the Peppers: “When I quit the band, over a year ago, we were on an indefinite hiatus.” No hate (“I really love the band”), he just wants to do something different.

To this day I have to hear everything he does to make up for all those years he didn’t do anything…I wonder whats next….

  3. I wonder where Frusciante will go now. Hopefully some solo projects.

Ditto that, Greg. “Stadium Arcadium” made me hunker down and listen to nothing but “Shadows Collide with People” & his umpteen solo albums to make me remember that he’s responsible for the good stuff on “By The Way”. Now that JF’s split, they’ll be worth hearing to see if Klinghoffer does anything great (he might). And if that’s not the case – eff ‘em.

    but…. i don’t care. : (

  6. He should have called his Myspace post “Clarifornication”.

  7. they are going to be so terrible without him
