Cold Cave, White Ring, Burning Star Core @ Europa, Brooklyn 6/14/12 (Northside Festival)

By Amrit Singh / June 15, 2012

Last night the Northside Festival kicked off in north Williamsburg. Last night’s most appetizing bills were at Europa, or at Glasslands (which had BTW Beacon and Sweden’s Niki & The Dove), or Music Hall Of Williamsburg (which had GZA do Liquid Swords), though things really kick into full swing today, with a big show at McCarren Park in the early evening — Beach Fossils at 5PM, the Thermals at 5:50, Jens Lekman at 6:50, and of Montreal at 8:30 — and a late set at Knitting Factory by rap’s latest meme, FL teen Kitty Pryde.

The full schedule is here, though your Saturday is already set: The Stereogum show starts at 7PM at Cameo with Twin Sister, Physical Therapy, Cults-spinoff Guards, Blonds, Caged Animals, and Phonetag. Buy tickets, flash your badge, come hang. Until then, check out photos from last night by wagz2it.
