The video for “Always,” the irresistibly synthy and catchy-as-all-hell new single from British indie-pop duo Summer Camp, is disturbing and funny and ridiculously cute, all at the same time. It’s a lo-fi, camcorder-filmed affair in which the two members of Summer Camp find the most twee way possible to commit a murder and kidnapping, playing lovey-dovey mini-golf while their victim asphyxiates. It’s one of those videos that somehow makes a great song even better; Oliver Evans directs. And Summer Camp have also recorded a French version of the track; listen to that and watch the video below.
