Dirty Projectors stopped in KEXP’s studio for a live session yesterday, a set that featured two previously unheard tracks from the forthcoming Swing Lo Magellan. Head to Fake Walls to hear rips of the tracks. “Offspring Are Blank” is a building rock arrangement featuring signature Dirty Pros harmonies and “The Socialites” is an understated, Coffman-led shuffle. Like with their Fallon performance, Wye Oak’s Jenn Wasner joins the Projectors. You can hear the whole performance by heading to KEXP’s archive page, selecting June 21 and the 9:00 AM Variety Mix show. The performance happens at about 9:40.
