JEFF The Brotherhood - "Sixpack" Video

Exuberant Nashville fuzz-rock duo JEFF The Brotherhood’s video for their friendship ode “Sixpack” might as well be a blueprint for how to spend your holiday. It involves alcohol, weed, canoes, swimming holes, fireworks, campfires, and makeouts, and it looks like the band members and their friends had a whole hell of a lot of fun filming it. Elise Tyler and Michael Carter direct, and it’s NSFW for skinny-dipping-related reasons, though not the reasons you may be hoping for. Watch it below.

The band’s new Hypnotic Knights is out now on Infinity Cat; stream it here.

  1. Whatever happened to these guys being a Philly band? Guess it wasn’t cool enough for them…haha

  2. Kind of trying to hard to show how “wasted” they get, but it looks like a nice way to spend a Saturday.

    • They’re trying waaaay too hard. Pretty lame.
Like “Ohhh, they smoke pot?? Wowww, how rebelious of them!” And I’m really not sexist but when a summer partying video involving campires and skinny dipping pops up, it would be nice if at least one of the NSFW moments was a cute chick.

  3. Well, everyone’s 4th of July plans pales in comparison now.

Also, the more appropriate album tag here would be that this song (along with every song on the EP) are on their forthcoming Hypnotic Knights LP, a major label debut on Warner Bros. due out July 17th.

  4. Look at all those dirty dirty hipsters doing those dirty dirty hipster things.

    Looks like fun.

  5. eff me this such a good song…how was it not on the indie song of the summer ballot?? love the harmony during the “so, so, so, so, soooo hoootttt!” part :)
