We were introduced to Richmond, VA’s Matthew E. White through his first single, “One Of These Days,” a warm-sounding, dense rock track underscored by White’s yearning and heavy thinking. Whoa, I never knew Matt White did anything like this. He leads an awesome avant-jazz group called Fight the Big Bull. All of their albums are awesome, and they even did a full-length collab with David Karsten Daniels, which is just glorious. Also, FTBB features Bon Iver member Reggie Pace on trombone!
