Stars - The North

About a month ago we got our first taste of Stars’ forthcoming The North, via lead single “The Theory Of Relativity.” It was a pretty excellent synth-pop earworm, but its follow-up, “Hold On When You Get Love And Let Go When You Give It,” is even better. Compositionally and tonally, it’s got a lot in common with its predecessor (a positive omen for the album, I think); it’s driven by a great New Order-ish bass line, and again its got Torquil Campbell delivering the verses with Amy Millan on the monster chorus. Check it out below.

  1. This is awesome!!!!

  2. I can’t even begin to express how excited I am to see that Stars finally has a new album coming out. As a devoted fan, I am even willing to drive to their Indiana show since there isn’t going to be on in Chicago! Love them <3
