Cult Of Youth

Next month, the great Brooklyn evil-folk BTW Cult Of Youth will release their new album Love Will Prevail, which frontman Sean Ragon recorded in his own handbuilt studio, playing most of the instruments himself. We’ve already heard first single “Man And Man’s Ruin,” and now here’s “Garden Of Delight,” a piece of top-shelf dark, shouty acoustic monster-goth. Between this and the new Swans album, we’re living through great times for apocalyptic darkness.

Love Will Prevail is out 9/4 on Sacred Bones.

  1. This sounds great now, but it’s going to sound even better in the fall when the weather chills out a bit and Halloween is on the mind.

I want to also add that the new Chelsea Wolfe LP should also join the ranks of the apocalyptic darkness movement you speak of.

  2. Looking forward to this. CoY are one of the best nazi folk-rock groups out there.

  3. Antifa, the latest in Zen erudition. May your lust for rutabagas overcome your life-hatred.
