Our post of Local Natives’ pleasantly drummed “Sun Hands” came with a reference to Yeasayer because of its dusky, shimmering All Hour Cymbals-esque harmonies. You can hear another Gorilla Manor track by entering the dusty ragtag mansion of this Mark Waring-directed stop-motion/real-time video where the band members’ portraits rotate into skeletons, we get a meaningful pan of a collection of Shakespeare’s Tragedies (as well as Solzhenitsyn’s), and then a bunch of still lifes decide to start moving.

Gorilla Manor, already out in the UK, will be released 2/16 in the US via Frenchkiss. You can pre-order it directly from the band. Catch them at Coachella.
