This past spring, we partnered with Mayer Hawthorne for styld.by, a new online platform showcasing the latest looks from Gap. Today, we begin another round with the clothing retailer, this time featuring Chris Chu of Brooklyn’s POP ETC as our model.
It was back in May when beloved San Francisco-bred indie-pop outfit the morning benders surprised everyone by changing their name to POP ETC (having learned that “bender” is a homophobic term in some parts of the world) and changing their sound to match. Their self-titled album — out now on Rough Trade — is a headlong leap into slick, lavish, R&B, and you can catch them on tour this month.
Check out Chris sporting two Gap fall looks above, and head below for a mix the band just put together to celebrate the launch of their tour with Dirty Projectors.
