The good folks of Fun Fun Fun put on one of our most anticipated fall festivals every year, though this year our suspense and emotional investment will be even more intense: For the first time, Stereogum is joining the FFF fray as an official media partner. What this means, basically, is that we’ll be presenting some choice pre-coverage and comprehensive event coverage of the goings on in Austin. It also means we’re coming to visit you soon, ATX. The festival, which takes place on the weekend of November 2nd, has a lineup that is stacked with metal, punk, hip hop, indie, and comedy wares. The fest ends at 10PM each night, which is when the “Nites” portion kicks off at the clubs around town we’ve come to know well thanks to SXSW. Now with two month’s lead time, FFF has provided the full weekend timetable. This is considerate behavior. Scour it and plan accordingly at funfunfunfest.com. Tickets are still available here.
