Joey Bada$$ is a teenage Brooklyn rapper (and BTW alum) who is almost shockingly skilled in the ways of mid-’90s New York underground rappity-rap. A couple of months ago, he released his 1999 mixtape, which we promptly named Mixtape Of The Week. And today, he offers up a new tape, alluringly titled Rejex, of tracks that didn’t quite make the 1999 cut. The tape includes raps over beats from rap-fundamentalist heroes like MF Doom, Lord Finesse, and Madlib, and you can download it for free here.
