Inlets’ Inter Arbiter is a bedroom record, so forgive sole member Sebastian Krueger if nearly all of Ryan Muir‘s photos catches the singer with his eyes closed, seemingly in his own world. Further evidence of the night’s intimate nature: Tickets to the Pianos show were by invitation-only. And album guest Zach Condon was in the audience, but didn’t perform. The focus remained on Inlets, who did, however, bring a backing band, because no Inlet is an island (nice). After so many appearances backing other musicians, it only seemed appropriate.
