Philly synth-rock duo Sun Airway return next month with sophomore album Soft Fall, and today they unveil the video for first single “Close.” Director Ewan MacLeod‘s clip tells the story of a castaway who washes up on a mysterious island, discovers Return Of The Jedi-style telekinetic powers, and searches for companionship. It’s all very Lost, especially in that it makes no sense at all. Watch it below.

Thank you for posting this. I’ve been long hoping to hear something new about SA album 2. Although the music video sort of lost me at the point with the floating rocks. Song sounds good nonetheless.
watched this with my girlfriend. when he lifted up the rocks with his mind she said “i don’t like that. it’s scary.” and when the burning stick rose up she said “ewwww!!” she also thinks he’s on the island, because his killer Fijian wedding party got shipwrecked. seems accurate.
