The Raveonettes on Letterman

The Raveonettes are evidently so confident in their luxuriant zonked-out glamor that they don’t see any reason to stand up when they’re on TV. Last night, the band rolled out their Observator single “She Owns The Streets” on the Late Show With David Letterman, and they spent their entire onstage time perched on their own amplifiers. Watch it below.

Observator is out now on Vice.

  1. Someday I going to eat Raisinets while watching the Raveonettes.

  2. Letterman’s got nothing on these two 11-year-olds who interviewed The Raveonettes last week.

  3. They were probably tired because they drove all the way from Montreal to do Letterman in New York, then drove to Philadelphia ON THE SAME NIGHT, for their gig at Union Transfer.

    • My thoughts exactly…even though they aren’t the ones doing the driving. This performance seemed pretty uninspired. With that said, they were AMAZING in Detroit last Sunday!
