Free Energy - "Dance All Night"

Way the hell back in March, classic-rock true believers Free Energy released the deliriously catchy single “Electric Fever.” And then nothing. I was worried that their sophomore album, the follow-up to 2010′s grievously underrated Stuck On Nothing, was trapped in some kind of purgatory. But now, we finally have some great news: Lovesign, that sophomore album is dropping early next year. They’re putting it out on their own after breaking from old label DFA. And they’ve shared a slowburning midtempo prom jam called “Dance All Night.” Download it and watch an all-too-brief teaser for the album below.

Lovesign is out 1/15 on the band’s own Free People label.

  1. Listened to this. Liked it. Tried getting into the new Gibbard album. Came back here.

  2. Not bad! I loved Electric Fever’s guitar and vocals but I can dig this slower, somewhat softer song.

  3. They’re back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yayyyyyy
