Regina Spektor - "How" Video

Regina Spektor’s recent videos for “All The Rowboats” and “Don’t Leave Me (Ne Me Quitte Pas)” were quirky, fun affairs. But despite flashes of old-timey animation and a scene where she appears to be wearing butterfly wings, Spektor’s new video for the breakup-driven piano-ballad “How” is something else entirely. It’s a calm and sincere moving portrait of Spektor, the camera worshipping at her feet and switching back and forth between lush color and even lusher black-and-white. Margo Weathers directs; watch it below.

Spektor’s album What We Saw From The Cheap Seats is out now on Sire.

  1. I really like this song and I like most of her work…that being said…she was on Q Jian Ghomeshi the other day and sounded like an overexcited 12 year old girl, and when put on the spot couldn’t name a Joni Mitchell song! As I’m typing this I realize I sound like a crusty bastard.
