15 Step Drawing.

"Steamboat Willie" meets "15 Step." I'm into it.

When I was a teenager, I had a little bit of a “everything Radiohead” phase. I didn’t take it as far as my friend David — a dude who regularly eBay’d Japanese import singles and once made a computer program to ensure we got tickets to Radiohead’s pre-In Rainbows small theater tour — but I certainly tracked down as much domestic releases and merchandise as I could. Luckily for me, Etsy wasn’t around back then to offer me well-crafted, unofficial alternatives. I’m a pretty big fan of the Etsy community — Meaghan Garvey’s store is definitely one of my favorites — and part of that certainly has to do with the prevalence of weird, disjointed arts-and-craftery that nobody could have possibly asked for. So today, we present the 10 weirdest Radiohead-related items I could find on the site.

  1. I believe those are Hail to the Thief shoes

  2. There is this bulletin board on my work’s employee homepage and some guy kept posting links to his wife’s etsy page where she sold decorative birdhouses. Every time she added new birdhouse this dude would post an update. I can’t imagine what an ass I would feel like if my wife made me do that. I guess my point is if your significant other has a hobby that’s great, but unless you want to end up being forced to behave like a total douche make it clear from the beginning that you will not be supporting their hobby in any way.

  3. I was hoping I could buy the actual glass house from “Life in a Glass House”… #foiledagain

  4. everything on etsy is lame

  5. Uhh, I think Phil in bed with his shirt off is by far the weirdest, most disturbing part of that painting.

  6. Correct me if I’m wrong, but I think that “The Eraser style wall mural” was an insert that came with the CD and just folded out into the larger scene.
