Yesterday, the razor-sharp young rapper Angel Haze released Classick, a new mixtape of ballsy reworkings of older rap songs. (Her take on “Cleaning Out My Closet” is harrowing and special.) And now she’s found an unlikely collaborator in King Krule, the similarly young Londoner whose jazzbo space-folk is carving out its own aesthetic lane. Haze’s New York EP is coming soon from Island.
