Prince Rama - Top 10 Hits Of The End Of The World

Top 10 Hits Of The End Of The World, the forthcoming album from Brooklyn astral-rockers Prince Rama, has a fun and ridiculous concept: It’s the band channeling the 10 different bands who have the most popular songs during the apocalypse. We’ve already posted two radically different tracks, “So Destroyed” and “Those Who Live For Love Will Live Forever,” and now here’s another one that doesn’t sound remotely like the other two. “Welcome To The Now Age,” supposedly by the fictional group Hyparxia, sounds something like Ace Of Base, if they were recording while discovering the wonders of space travel. Download it below.

Top 10 Hits Of The End Of The World is out 11/6 on Paw Tracks.

  1. Pretty cool. The production’s lacking something but the sparseness gives the song a lovely Ariel Pink-esque guise.
