A couple of years ago, Thom Yorke formed a new band so that he could tour his solo stuff; it had the head-spinning lineup of Flea, Nigel Godrich, Joey Waronker, and Mauro Refosco. A little while later, he gave that band a name: Atoms For Peace. They eventually started writing and recording their own music, including the new single “Default.” And now, Atoms For Peace have announced the impending release of their first album. It’s called AMOK, and it’ll arrive early next year. Check out the tracklist below.
01 “Before Your Very Eyes…”
02 “Default”
03 “Ingenue”
04 “Dropped”
05 “Unless”
06 “Stuck Together Pieces”
07 “Judge, Jury and Executioner”
08 “Reverse Running”
09 “Amok”
AMOK is out 1/28 on XL.

07 “Judge, Jury and Executioner”??
that’s some deja vu over there
Yeah, I think there’s a video on Youtube of them playing it live. Thom sure never likes to let go of lyrics etc from his past.
This supergroup’s worth their salt. http://ow.ly/hnYha
