Chief Keef’s recent “Love Sosa” showed that the controversial Chicago rapper’s major label debut — Finally Rich — is definitely one to look out for, where Keef flexed his apparently ample ability with more melodic textures. Now here’s another Young Chop-produced cut, the thundering “Kobe,” which is paired with a spare but glossy visual. Hi-Def directs. Watch it below.
Finally Rich is out 12/18 on Interscope. Speaking of the Lakers, Mike D’Antoni will replace the just-fired Mike Brown, which has to be disappointing to those who had fingered Riff Raff for the head coaching job.

I don’t get why this made onto Stereogum. I get that this has it’s place, but it isn’t like Chief Keef is a good rapper. If it’s the production, why not just post an instrumental and say “This is the new CK song without CK. It’s better this way.” Someone help me.
It seems like whips, weed and rhymes about shorties and strip clubs will always find an audience, even if said audience really should know better.
You might not yet know it but you seem self-important.
How so? I like rap music, but why is this the one that gets a post?
I am all for music about weed, money, guns whatever. That is, as long as it’s good.
I’m pretty sure this song should be called “Kwame”
