Yo La Tengo – “Before We Run”

Michael Nelson | November 15, 2012 - 10:33 am

Why it was only yesterday that we got the full deets on Yo La Tengo’s forthcoming LP Fade, and already we’ve got a new song and video (of sorts) to keep us warm through these cold November nights. The song is album closer “Before We Run,” a gentle, stirring, string-and horn-filled beauty with Georgia on the lead vocal. The clip is courtesy of Georgia’s sister Emily and is basically an animated version of the album’s lovely cover. Check it out.
