On the most recent episode of the BBC show Later With Jools Holland, Aussie fuzz-rockers Tame Impala brought their impressive psychedelic chug, playing “Elephant,” arguably the most Sabbath-esque track from their new album Lonerism. It’s the sort of song that demands dramatic lighting, and Later With Jools Holland has some awesomely dramatic lighting. Watch it below.
Lonerism is out now on Modular.

Makes me feel good seeing these guys do good after catching them early on! Like pre first EP! Such great musicianship!
You mean some of THIS b-wards? http://pitchfork.com/news/48679-watch-tame-impala-on-jools-holland-again/
perfect song for them to play. i feel like Elephant could be a breakout hit for them over there in England Land.
I love Tame Impala, like a lot. They’re a breath of fresh air in a day of a bunch of bullshit music. Having said that, they REALLY need to figure something out with the live vocals. They sound awful compared to the layered album versions. It’s tough live, but Kevin Parker really needs to work it out because it doesn’t sound good at all.
