Atlanta rap entity Future has turned an Auto-Tuned spit-gargle into one of the most hypnotic sounds in all of rap, and his album Pluto is currently fighting it out with Swans for a place in my year-end top five. Pluto 3D, the new bonus-tracks-included version of the album, includes a remix of album track “Neva End” with former Destiny’s Child member Kelly Rowland, and Future and Rowland showed up on Jimmy Kimmel Live! last night to sing it. Future also did an online bonus version of “Turn On The Lights,” both songs translating surprisingly well to a live-band talk-show setting. Also, Future can apparently pull off leather pants, which is impressive. Watch both performances below.
Pluto 3D is out now on Epic. And how rare are audible singalongs on late-night TV? They’re pretty rare!
