Stereogum Monthly Mix: November 2012

Guys, it’s Friday, and there are used plates with smeared cake-frosting laying around, with empty booze bottles accumulating on our desks and a general pall of whiskey fumes hanging over the office. While that is some people’s idea of holiday magic, for us, it’s the signifier that it’s someone’s last day. It’s a sad thing. I approached him for this job at a music festival, I trained him during an earthquake, and now we’re saying goodbye from the bottom of a whiskey bottle. He’s brought a lot of content and character to the ’Gum fam, and we’re gonna miss him. While nothing on this here nine-track compendium is particularly Corban-centric, that doesn’t mean we can’t send it out as a dedication. THIS ONE’S FOR YOU, CORBAN. If you have 71.2MB to spare, take it and remember the November/tenure that was.
