Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band

Twenty-eight songs and a running time slightly over three hours. These are the hallmarks of a Bruce Springsteen live show. It was a special night from the start as Tom Morello from Rage Against The Machine walked onstage with the members of the E Street Band at the onset for a ripping version of “Land Of Hope And Dreams.” Morello guested throughout the evening, adding his sonic wizardry to “Death To My Hometown,”"This Depression,” “Badlands,” “Tenth Avenue Freeze-Out,” and a mind blowing whammy pedal solo on “The Ghost Of Tom Joad.” The other surprise of the evening was Mike Ness showing up with his Les Paul for a slick rundown of Social Distortion’s “Bad Luck.” These were just a few of the many highlights that included the shimmery acoustics of “Waitin’ On A Sunny Day,” a barnstorming rendition of “Thunder Road,” and the whole band donning Santa hats for “Santa Claus Is Coming To Town.” Check out the gallery above and the lengthy setlist below.
