Local Natives have released a studio version of “Heavy Feet,” a track from their sophomore album, Hummingbirds. The cut was originally debuted on BBC Radio 6 last November and the band continues to make the in-studio rounds in anticipation of the record’s release. In an interview with Morning Becomes Electric host Jason Bentley that will air on LA’s KCRW on 1/11, Natives drummer Matt Frazier said that the “new songs are purposefully spare and bare” but “Heavy Feet” feels as melodically full as the songs on their first album, Gorilla Manor.
