Swedish producer Dan Lissvik has put his own spin on HAIM’s “Send Me Down.” The original was met with trepidation by some — it was a darker take on the sisters’ sound, despite its back-layer of handclaps (and really, when are handclaps not a totally positive addition to a song?). If you need an upbeat version, this is your track. With his refit, Lissvik turns the somber horn section into thick synths and brightens up the hook. Check it out below.
HAIM’s debut album is due out this year.
