Florida-born, Brooklyn-based rap space cadet Kilo Kish has a new mixtape called k+ coming out, and it’s got a hell of a guest list: Earl Sweatshirt, SBTRKT, the Internet, Star Slinger, A$AP Ferg, Vince Staples, and Childish Gambino all make appearances. And the tape’s first single, the aptly titled six-minute “Creepwave,” has a mindbending beat from CRONOS, whose synths sound like lonely prairie winds. Drug-rap goblins Flatbush Zombies show up on the track, but Kish’s diffuse astral-traveler voice dominates the show. The track promises great things for a full-length tape, and you can hear it below.
k+ is out soon, and Kilo Kish also has a multimedia art show opening 2/1 at New York’s Los Kabayitos Theater.
