My Morning Jacket frontman Jim James has always stayed busy outside the confines of his main band, but up until now, he’s never released a proper solo album, one released under his own name. That changes next week, when James gives us Regions Of Light And Sound Of God, a concept album built around a graphic novel that’s nearly a century old. James engineered his own album and played every instrument on it, and we’ve already heard two of its songs, “Know Til Now” and “A New Life.” And now, the whole album is streaming online; listen to it below.
