Yesterday, we looked into the recent tensions between Azealia Banks and “Harlem Shake” producer Baauer that surfaced as a result of her remix of the song. Baauer had Banks’s remix of the song removed from Soundcloud. This morning, she responded by posting her video of the song on Vimeo. “Sick and tired of these raggedy male musicians and their scarred ego’s trying to block my fucking light,” she tweeted this morning, a few hours after the video went up. “Sick and tired of all the motherfuckers trying to ’put me in my place.’” Watch the video below.

  2. That’s a pretty hot black girl

  3. Baauer was right; Banks’ verse is weak.

    • It’s a garbage voice and her vocals sound way too loud and out of place over the beat.

She said she felt like Harlem Shake was a ho that everyone got to fuck but her. Sorry Azealia, you gotta do a lot more than lay on the floor to fuck with this beast.

Pick any 7 Harlem Shake meme videos and those will be worth your time more than this trash.

      • I’m more than okay with the rolling for obvious reasons, but I don’t see remotely enough talent worthy of her being an abrasive bitch to people on the internet. This is the first I’ve heard from her and I’m not impressed.

        • then you should listen to her other songs..212 is a good one she definitely has talent but this wasn’t her best hit.. aside from that I thought the video was cute though

  4. She’s been on 6 magazine covers in the last year but hasn’t produced any new music worth talking about. She has 1/2 a good song with 212, but let’s be honest- she’s pretty, she’s fashionable, and she looks good on camera. She’s been coasting on the internet’s fascination with her looks and it’s starting to feel gross.

  5. this is wack no wonder bauuer didn’t want it

I suppose she never heard of copyright violation or getting permission to use his entire song.

You can’t compare a 30 second clip of people randomly dancing to Baauer’s song to her taking the entire song and rapping over it.

If you want to do that then you need to get permission and pay for it like other musical artists do.

Besides her rapping skills are below average.

  7. Don’t like at all…video sucks …Collette Carr has a way better video!!!!

  8. Funny how Bauuer just got in trouble for sampling without permission. Plus he jacked Harlem’s (the city) dance and tried to make money off the name. At least shes from Harlem.
