Oh yeah . . Charlie White is the ‘first-time’ video director of the Interpol video. He actually does weird ass digital photography. Check out his work – he’s breaking out into the world of photography and postmodernism, and he likes to use puppets. Look out Cindy Sherman!

Charlie White is so awesome and I am so lucky to have him as my teacher at USC. He doesn’t take any shit from anyone but he is one funny guy. He’s going places and we can all learn a lot from him.

Interpol is one of the best bands I’ve ever heard…the muppet is cool, but I was expecting to actually see the band on the video….by the way…why does it have to b NormaN??

It’s NORMAN. No changing it. We named him that because it’s an unassuming name, and it sounds a lot like “normal” and he’s anything but. It’s irony at it’s best.
