As Tom pointed out last week, Young Guru debuted Kendrick Lamar’s “Bitch Don’t Kill My Vibe (Remix)” featuring Jay-Z during SXSW at BitTorrent showcase. The entire thing has been unearthed, including new verses from Lamar that update the tone of the original from concern about credibility into a snarling declaration of individuality. Kendrick second verse, wow
It’s sad that I have to be “impressed” with Jay-Z’s rapping effort nowadays, but he destroyed here. And then Kendrick took it and hit it out of the park.
Probably Jay’s best verse in recent memory. And then there’s Kendrick. Someone send help as I can’t seem to get my jaw up off the floor.
Jay-Z should stick with doing appearances. He hasn’t done shit since The Black Album.
