Watch Fleetwood Mac Play New “Sad Angel” In Philly

Fleetwood Mac

On Saturday night, old-school studio-rock deities Fleetwood Mac played a show at Philadelphia’s Wells Fargo Arena, an early date on a long U.S. arena tour. At the show, Lindsey Buckingham mentioned that the band had gotten together before the tour to record a new EP, one that they’d release in “a few days”; this will be the band’s first new studio record since 2003’s Say You Will. After making the announcement, the band played a new song called “Sad Angel,” a classically smooth midtempo tune on which Buckingham and Stevie Nicks share lead-vocal duties. Watch a pretty good fan-made video of the performance below.

No specifics yet on that EP, but if what Buckingham said is true, it could appear any minute now.
