Charli XCX - True Romance

For about a year and a half now, the young British dance-pop singer Charli XCX has been cranking out excellent singles at an alarming rate; “You (Ha Ha Ha)” and “What I Like” are only her most recent jams. Somehow, though, she still hasn’t gotten around to releasing a full-length debut album. That changes next week, when her album True Romance arrives. And right now, you can stream the full LP at Pitchfork.

True Romance is out 4/16 on IAMSOUND.

  1. Aren’t we getting a little stream-happy around here?

    • a little overwhelming, but eventually will be worth it during an inevitable music-drought. anyone else think that there have been SO many great releases this year so far? like, too many?

      • The year started off slowly but I think ever since JT’s 20/20 Experience dropped it’s just been a non-stop onslaught of music.

I am pissed though that I’ve been anxiously waiting for this album to drop and forget to bring my headphones to work today.
