Watch The National’s Mistaken For Strangers Documentary Trailer

Awaiting Trouble Will Find Me has sent us into a well-deserved National frenzy. We have already heard two singles off the forthcoming album, one of which came with a pretty cool time-lapse video. It seems about time the National would have a documentary made about them, and who better to make it than Matt Berninger’s metalhead brother? Tom Berninger was a roadie for the National on their High Violet tour and wisely brought his camera along. The result: Mistaken For Strangers, a full-length documentary that will open the Tribeca film festival in New York City this Wednesday. Watch the trailer below.

  1. Weird that they’d name the documentary after what apparently isn’t one of their ten best songs. :)

  2. That youtube comment is hilarious:

“Looks great. Didn’t know Matt’s brother was Jack Black.”

Looks like it will be pretty fun.

  3. Love this band. But this documentary feels like reality-tv bullsh*t.
