Drake - "Girls Love Beyonce"

After “Started From The Bottom” and “5AM In Toronto,” Drake has now given us his third solo track of the year. This one is called “Girls Love Beyoncé,” and it’s an airy, stoned, sung-not-rapped lament about trying to find a warm relationship rather than a cold hookup, and not being quite certain that’s what you want in the first place. On the hook, Drake and guest James Fauntleroy sing Destiny’s Child’s “Say My Name.” Download the track below.

Drake’s new album Nothing Was The Same will be out sometime this year.

  1. I was not prepared to be as psyched as I am about this.

  2. I had no idea how much I loved “Marvins Room” and “Headlines” until I heard the rest of Take Care. His songs feed off each other so much. I love “Started From the Bottom” but was reassured once he followed it with “5AM in Toronto.” They make each other better. Already love this one, but I think the album around it is gonna make it so much better. It’s exciting. It’s all happening!!!!

  3. I’m with keegzmcgee. The name and the description didn’t bode well, and then — holy shit — incredible. Drake is one talented dude.
