In an interview, the creators said they specifically took elements of other bands and blended them together to create songs. Everyone thinks Tarantino is a great director (he is) but he rips off samurai, kung fu, and sometimes, even his own movies when he makes them. So, stop whining and appreciate The Gorillaz, ’cause they KICK ASS.

This has been bugging me since the track (Feel Good Inc.) was released.
The chorus (“windmill, windmill…”) sounds so familiar in terms of music. It sounds very similar to another song, an older ballad or love song maybe?
I have asked everyone I know to listen and analyze. Everyone recognizes the similarities to something they have heard before, but can’t pin-point it.
