It’s an absorbing, intimate collection that puts a tight focus on Devon Welsh’s rich baritone and evocative lyrics. I like it even more now than I did two weeks ago, actually, thanks to Cole’s fantastic interview with Welsh, who’s a truly thoughtful, engaging person.
