Scion 10

Scion has the inarguable distinction of being the car company that’s given away more good free music than any other car company, so it makes some kind of sense that the company is celebrating its 10th anniversary by giving away a new compilation called Scion 10, one that includes new music from people like the Melvins, ASG, White Hills, and Smoke DZA and Harry Fraud. One of the tracks on the album is Chromatics’ “Red Car,” a diffuse cinematic zone-out that came from the same sessions that produced their excellent 2012 double album Kill For Love. Listen to it below.

  1. Excellent news! Free new Chromatics.

Now if only we can unearth that 17 minute “Looking for Love” that I know is on Johnny Jewel’s hard drive somewhere…

  2. This song is from the previously released “Running From The Sun” EP. Available here: https://soundcloud.com/johnnyjewel/running-from-the-sun
