The springy, energetic, fun-as-hell Richmond, California rapper Iamsu! has landed in the Mixtape Of The Week column twice recently: Once for last year’s $uzy 6 $peed and once for Million Dollar Afro, the collaborative tape with Problem that he released earlier this year. But he should’ve pulled it off three times; I slept on his best tape, the early-2012 effort Kilt, and that’s the tape that really established his style and brought the most energy. Iamsu!’s now followed that one up with the brand-new Kilt II, which has appearances from Juvenile, Keak Da Sneak, Problem, Ty$, Jay Ant, and a few others. Get it at Livemixtapes.
