Nine Inch Nails - Hesitation Marks

Nine Inch Nails back! Trent Reznor’s earthshaking industrial project, which finished up its Wave Goodbye tour in 2009, is roaring back into action with an excellent new single, “Came Back Haunted,” and a titanic summer arena tour. And now they’ve announced all the details of their comeback album Hesitation Marks, which arrives in September. Reznor produced the album with frequent collaborator Atticus Ross and shoegaze loud-guitar guru Alan Moulder; Moulder also mixed the album. And the LP will feature guest work from motherfucking Lindsey Buckingham of Fleetwood Mac, of all possible people. (Seriously, that should be amazing.) King Crimson’s Adrian Belew, who recently left the NIN touring band, also contributes, as does the awesomely named session-legend bassist Pino Palladino. Oh, and David Lynch is directing the “Came Back Haunted” video. Reznor has some serious heavy hitters on his team. Check out the Hesitation Marks tracklist below.

  1. Your post says the album arrives in March, but the details list the release date as 9/3. i’m hoping it’s the latter :)

  2. Yes!!!!! “Came Back Haunted” is killer. Can’t wait for the rest of the album and to finally see them live.

  3. GUYS! Sometimes professionals say; “If you are not growing, you are dead….”
This is true to real music. All professional and mature musicians change their conceptual aspect and taste when they release new album everytime. NIN is one of them. A very profound and complex music. NIN’s new album will also be very different than previous records. So we don’t need to compare it with ex-records. And observe the new conceptual aspects instead. NIN is one of the greatest experimentalist in the music industry…as it brings something new to the table which will be case with HESITATION MARKS…
